Hey everyone!
So most of you know that I will be studying abroad for the Spring '09 semester in the Dominican Republic.
The DR is 3/4 of a Caribbean island that isn't far from the island of Puerto Rico or the country El Salvador. It shares the island with another country known as Haiti. I will, of course, be able to give you a much better picture once I get down there...
I depart for the DR on Jan 11th and will be there until May. You can follow me as much or as little as you want by checking in on this blog. I chose the name "amandasinthedr" because I thought it would be easy for you all to remember. I have never done a blog like this before, so it's as new to me as it might be to you! We'll have to figure it out together... :)
